Parts Shipping Policies
Green Farm Parts ships most of our John Deere parts orders via UPS. No matter where you are in the
USA or Canada, UPS will bring your John Deere parts to you safely and quickly. We also ship many of our
free shipping orders via UPS SurePost, which is a program from UPS that delivers your package from UPS
to your local post office and the local post office makes the final delivery to you.
Green Farm Parts
reserves the right to ship all qualified ‘free shipping’ orders via USPS, UPS, UPS SurePost or whatever
means are most economical to us. Please be aware that all qualified FREE SHIPPING orders may
experience a 1-2 business day extra transit time as many of these orders are shipped through UPS
SurePost. If you need your order sooner, choose UPS as your shipping option and not the free
shipping option. Green Farm Parts will ship the package the most economical way for free shipping orders and may ship to the billing address instead of the shipping address.
When you place an order at Green Farm Parts, we quickly fill your order and
email you a UPS tracking number (if applicable) as soon as the package is processed and ready to be
picked up. If your tracking number doesn't work, please try again at the end of the day. Although the
UPS Worldship Software generates a tracking number, the number will not have tracking capabilities
until the UPS driver picks up and scans your package. You can visit www.UPS.com to track your package
once it has been picked up by the UPS driver.
Residential
Deliveries:
Packages that UPS classifies as a residential address will be shipped SIGNATURE
REQUIRED for packages valued at $1000.00 or more. Receiver must be present to sign for the package in
these cases.
Alternate Shipping:
In some
instances Green Farm Parts may utilize Federal Express (FedEx) or an over the road courier to deliver
your parts due to the size of the package(s) or shipping location. The UPS shipping charges on your
invoice will still apply.
US Postal Service Shipping:Green Farm Parts offers shipping via the US Postal Service for some smaller packages. If a
package qualifies for this service, that shipping option will be displayed during checkout. Your USPS
tracking number will be sent to the email address associated with your John Deere parts
order.
Flat Rate Shipping:
Orders that qualify for
our flat rate shipping program are generally shipped via the US Postal Service. However, we will ship
these orders the most economical means to us as possible which may be UPS. Please include your
physical and post office box address (if applicable) on these orders.
We are happy to ship packages to our military personnel serving overseas. We
will ship packages via the USPS to FPO and APO addresses as long as the package size is not prohibitive.
Why Tracking Information May Not Be Available:All packages ship to you from our warehouse in central Indiana. Customers shipping with UPS
will receive a tracking number. USPS packages may or may not have tracking numbers, but may instead have a delivery confirmation number. If you received a notification email that your package has shipped, then your package is on the way and you should receive it in 2-5 business days.
Sales Tax:Green Farm Parts charges sales tax for Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. If you are a tax exempt business in one of these states, please contact us with your tax exemption certificate prior to placing an online order.
Orders to Canada and Duty Fees Information:
Orders sent to Canada via UPS Standard may incur Brokerage/Duties, Fees and/or Taxes. These fees are charged by the courier and/or government, and
not by Green Farm Parts.
If a customer refuses a package because of the brokerage fees, duties and/or taxes, we will charge that customer a re-stocking fee of 50% and shipping charges will not be refunded. No exceptions!
Below are the
UPS brokerage fees charged to Canadian customers. This is
separate from the freight charges and are the sole responsibility of the receiver! They must be paid to the driver in cash at the time of delivery:
- Value: $0.00 - $20.00 = Free
- Value: $20.01 - $40.00 = $10.00
- Value: $40.01 - $100.00 = $10.00
- Value: $100.01 - $200.00 = $10.00
- Value: $200.01- $350.00 = $45.60
- Value: $350.01 - $500.00 = $51.20
- Value: $500.01 - $750.00 =$58.20
- Value: $750.01 - $1000.00 = $65.15
- Value: $1000.01 - $1250.00 = $72.10
- Value: $1250.01 - $1600.00 = $76.65
- Please note that fees such as Duties, Taxes and othergovernment charges may still apply. UPS brokerage fees are subject to change at the mercy of UPS.
Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of good (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process
shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer's behalf.
Your order will be shipped under UPS's e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD $200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD $10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or
being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur
additional fees.
Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.Payment:All merchandise is payable is U.S. Funds through any of our convenient payment methods.
